Particularly during the summer months, maintaining the target dissolved oxygen (D.O.) levels in the basin became increasingly challenging.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, two OxyStar\u00ae aerators (15 kW \/ 20 HP each) were installed to improve oxygen levels and mixing. Installation was completed within just a few hours, without the need to dewater the basin or interrupt the biological treatment process.<\/p>\n<p>Since installation, the OxyStar\u00ae aerators have improved D.O. levels and mixing while reducing the load on the existing equipment. With virtually no maintenance required, the aerators provide a simple and reliable solution.
