Mayor Dirk Meid visits FUCHS in Mayen

On Thursday, 26 June 2025, FUCHS was pleased to welcome distinguished visitors to its headquarters: the Mayor of the City of Mayen, Dirk Meid, and Dagmar Luxem from the Economic Affairs and Business Development department took the time for an in-depth exchange with the management team.
The focus of the meeting was an open dialogue on the economic development of the region, the role of innovative medium-sized companies such as FUCHS, as well as joint approaches to promoting sustainability, attracting skilled workers and future-oriented location policy.
Managing Director Dr Christian Henrich presented the company’s current projects and emphasized its close ties to the region.
The visit was rounded off by a joint tour of the company and its production areas. During the tour, the guests gained a comprehensive insight into the operational processes and the company structure.
With this visit, the foundation was laid for even closer cooperation between the city, business development and FUCHS – a strong sign of regional networking and a shared focus on the future.
