One Aerator, Two Applications: Flexible Water Body Aeration in Luxembourg

In Luxembourg, a FUCHS OxyStar® aerator OS 2.0-WBL with 1.5 kW motor power and float was successfully used for the temporary aeration of a natural body of water. The aim was to avoid odour nuisance for the surrounding communities while at the same time protecting the natural environment.

A key requirement was flexible deployment: an aerator was needed that could be used, as required, in natural water sections as well as for conventional aeration tasks at a wastewater treatment plant.

The particular advantage: the FUCHS OxyStar® aerator combines both applications in a single machine. It can be used, depending on requirements, both for temporary aeration of bodies of water and in regular wastewater treatment plant operation. One machine, two fields of application, maximum flexibility.
