Upgrading the wastewater lagoon of a large sugar mill in CZ

In 2023, the wastewater lagoon of a large sugar mill in Czechia was upgraded with seven AeroStar aerators and one OxyStar aerator to support the biological degradation of BOD. The system has been in operation since autumn 2023.

Sometimes the natural lagoon performance is insufficient to remove pollutants such as BOD.
Additional aeration can support the biological degradation of BOD.
And this is what was implemented for a sugar mill in Czechia in 2023. FUCHS supported the end customer in selecting the appropriate solution.
For this particular case, a combination of seven AeroStar aerators and one OxyStar aerator was selected.
The system was successfully commissioned in autumn 2023.
