Relieve activated sludge plants, stabilise sludge

The stabilization of sludge is a prerequisite for agricultural application. This process is intensified through a separate aerobic sludge stabilization, and existing activated sludge plants are relieved. Depending on the requirements, pig and cattle manure can also be excellently stabilized and, at thermophilic temperatures (>50 °C), sanitized.

In covered tanks and with an increasing concentration of the sludge, the sludge heats up by itself to the mesophilic temperature range (~35 °C) when it is aerated. This allows for short retention times and correspondingly small reactors for the stabilization.

The FUCHS Centrox Aerator with foam control handles aeration, circulation and foam limitation with just one machine. The combination of small reactors and cost-effective machinery reduces the investment costs to a minimum. The aerobic stabilization process is very robust and can easily be commissioned and controlled. Together with the reliable FUCHS Centrox Aerator with foam control, this process offers a user-friendly solution especially for small and medium-sized wastewater treatment plants.
