Beverage industry

In breweries, wastewater is mainly generated when rinsing the bottles and cleaning the production facilities. The digestate must be disposed of separately. The wastewater is expediently screened, leveled out in a buffer basin and then treated biologically in aerated lagoons or an activated sludge system.

Distilleries

Distilleries produce highly polluted waste water with an unfavorable nutrient balance. Where co-treatment in a municipal sewage treatment plant is not possible and there is enough space available, aerated lagoons are a good solution for the biological treatment of wastewater.
