A hidden FUCHS aerator

At first glance, this photo looks like a patch of greenery in the middle of a wastewater basin. In fact, a FUCHS floating aerator is hiding under the tuft of grass: over time, plants have settled on its floats and almost completely overgrown the unit.

None of this keeps it from doing its job. The churned-up water surface right next to it shows that the aerator still reliably supplies the basin at the plant in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, with oxygen. FUCHS aerators are robust and get their job done even under challenging conditions.
