Company Outing on June 24, 2025: A Day of Nature, Culture, and Team Spirit

On 24 June 2025, our long-awaited company outing took place – a varied day full of nature, culture and team spirit. Early in the morning, all participants met for the shared departure to Mettlach. After arriving there, we started with an impressive hike along the Baumwipfelpfad at the Saarschleife, including splendid views of the surrounding landscape. After the hike, we stopped at a nearby restaurant for lunch, where an excellent three-course menu awaited us.
In the afternoon, the trip took us to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte. An engaging guided tour provided interesting insights into the history and technology of the historic ironworks. Before heading back home, we rounded off the day with a pleasant get-together in the on-site beer garden. It was an all-around successful outing that placed community and good spirits at the centre.
