FUCHS Enprotec takes over production and distribution of SESSIL® biofilm carriers

We are expanding our product portfolio: Together with SH SULPHTEC GmbH from Brieselang, we have acquired the SESSIL® production facility, the associated manufacturing know-how, and the trademark rights. This secures the continued availability of the proven SESSIL® biofilm carriers, and we are now taking over production and distribution with immediate effect.

Proven quality – still Made in Germany

SESSIL® biofilm carriers will continue to be available for the refurbishment, expansion, and new construction of trickling filter systems. Production will continue to take place in Germany, on the same production line and in the proven design.

The biofilm carriers consist of strips of UV-resistant polyethylene film with embedded polyester filaments. With a specific surface area of 100 to 250 m²/m³, they offer a large colonisation surface for microorganisms. The length of the film strips is individually adapted to the respective trickling filter system.
