On June 24, 2025, our long-awaited company outing took place — a varied day full of nature, culture, and team spirit.
Early in the morning, all participants met up for the joint departure to Mettlach. Upon arrival, we began with an impressive hike along the treetop path at the Saarschleife, which offered magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. After the hike, we stopped for lunch at a nearby restaurant, where an excellent three-course meal awaited us.
In the afternoon, our journey continued to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte. An engaging guided tour provided fascinating insights into the history and technology of the historic ironworks.Before heading back home, we rounded off the day with a relaxed get-together in the local beer garden. It was an all-around successful excursion that emphasized community and good spirits.
