Our Company’s History
The successful company history of today’s FUCHS Enprotec GmbH started already in the mid-60s. The noticeably deteriorating condition of the waters due to uncleaned sewage from households and industry prompted the passionate angler Hubert K. E. Fuchs Senior to deal with the then largely unknown topic of environmental protection. He decides to sell the family-run quarry and starts developing self-aspirating aerators.
FUCHS Aerators have been used successfully in sewage pond systems and activation systems since the early 1970s. With the emergence of factory farming, further machines are used to treat pig manure and lead to the development of Autoheated Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion (ATAD). A groundbreaking process in which sewage sludge is stabilized in terms of disease and plant hygiene. Today you can find FUCHS Aerators and ATAD systems all over the world.
In 2019, the family company based in Mayen, Rhineland-Palatinate, becomes part of the American Aqua-Aerobic Systems group. The successful story of high product quality and customer proximity is being continued.
